YEARNING FOR JESUS TO COME‏

[I share this because I've read the comments from many of my friends who express the same things. There's a sense of oppression in the air (the fruit of the enemy), but there's also an exhilarating sense of excitement (the joy of the Lord)!]

I wrote part of this in my journal this morning, and expanded upon it now in order to share:

I'm sure IMPATIENT for Jesus to Rapture His own!

I get sicker of this world, and all its hassles, every day. I could hide in the deepest forest, and still the hassles would search out my front door. That's because the enemy knows where I go, and everywhere I am, plus that ugly sin nature inside follows me there, too.

I long for a release from this! ONLY being with Jesus in a new glorified body will grant me that...and day by day, I wonder "How much longer Lord?"

I LIVE by the Word of God. IF other people DID THE SAME, there would certainly be less uproar in this world! BUT, that would also mean the time would NOT be so near, either, for Jesus' return...

INSTEAD, the whole world IS in an UPROAR, even the ground itself (and the mountain peaks, too), SHAKE in upheavals! Militant Islam butchers people; bombs blast; rifles fire; rockets explode. Bloody bodies lie in turbulent streets.

The United States is in a state of restless agitation. Disgruntled people everywhere. Hated. Greed. Bitterness. Even "Christians" backbite each other without a qualm. Crime are exploding. Protests are staged. While on the TV and Internet, yammering and arguments seethe. No peace! Plenty of strife. WHEN WILL ALL OF THIS END?

Along with all the roiling turmoil, God and His Word are mocked and scoffed. AND THEREIN LIES THE PROBLEM!

A satanic, antichrist spirit prevails. Oppression crushes one down. It's an unending battle to NOT become discouraged.

Evil is so strong on the earth, that it can actually be FELT. Many Christians, me included, SENSE this. It comes as a heavy distressing weight and a foreboding of approaching doom. I believe we FEEL this because the Tribulation period [that time of pressure, trouble and affliction] is soon to be truly manifest upon the earth.

ALL THAT KEEPS IT FROM FLOODING IN IS GOD'S RESTRAINING HOLY SPIRIT!

Several days ago, I had a fleeting impression [not a vision, not a thought], but a sense of KNOWING. The dividing line between dimensions appeared as thin as a piece of tissue paper. On the other side of that membrane, leathery entities sought to break through, beaks and wings battering the tissue, seeking access to our physical world. The membrane rippled, but did it not tear. The wicked beings could NOT gain access because the RESTRAINER held them back.

But as soon as the RESTRAINER is "taken out of the way", the membrane will rip, and that satanic horde of fallen angels will FLOOD the earth. IF WE THINK THE WORLD RIGHT NOW IS INSANE, CHAOTIC AND EVIL, WHEN THE RESTRAINER IS REMOVED, "ALL HELL" WILL CERTAINLY BREAK LOOSE.

My sense of impending doom is IN RELATION to that NIGHTMARISH spiritual reality. It's NOT here yet, but it IS indeed near. I BELIEVE GOD GAVE ME THAT IMPRESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF ME SHARING A WATCHMAN'S WARNING.

All is NOT gloom and doom, however! The other side of the coin is THE JOY of KNOWING the Lord Jesus Christ. ONLY HE CAN SAVE US FROM THE JUDGMENTS WHICH ARE BEING PREPARED. Bible prophecy, concerning the end times, WILL INDEED be fulfilled. BUT ALSO JESUS WILL "KEEP HIS WORD OF PROMISE" TO A FAITHFUL, OBEDIENT AND TRUE CHURCH!

He said to us in the Words spoken to His disciples (during that private meeting in the Upper Room, just prior to His Crucifixion, Resurrection and the GIVING of "the Comforter", the Holy Spirit--in which His Church was birthed). He declared with all authority, to those FIRST ones to enter His Church:

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back to take you to be with Me, that you may also be where I am."~~John 14:1-3.

He also spoke a direct promise to the FAITHFUL Church of Philadelphia, who have only a little strength [are few in number], but who KEEP His Word and have NOT DENIED His name. He declares with authority:

"Because you have kept the word of My patience, I also will KEEP you FROM the HOUR of temptation, which shall come UPON ALL THE WORLD, to try them that DWELL UPON THE EARTH."~~Revelation 3:10.

TO BE KEPT FROM THE HOUR OF THAT TRIBULATION IS TO BE KEPT FROM THE TIME OF IT!

Jesus then revealed Himself personally to the Apostle Paul, and gave that man this FURTHER revelation. To Paul, Jesus declared with authority:

"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."--1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.

THE THOUGHT OF BEING IN THE TRIBULATION DOES NOT BRING A PERSON COMFORT. I just describe in detail what THE CURRENT WORLD FEEL LIKE, and it's NOT NICE. The TRIBULATION will be thousands of times WORSE. It is NO comforting thought!

These PROMISES are WHY, as the world becomes so dark and threatening, we Christians are able to LIFT OUR HEADS IN JOY. We KNOW our Lord is SO SOON to appear. We have His assurance that we will be WITH HIM in glory, VIA a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, BEFORE the judgments and wrath of God come upon the whole world to test them who dwell upon the earth.

We KNOW this time is near, by reading from 1 Thessalonians 5:3-6:

"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon THEM, as travail upon a woman with child; and THEY shall NOT escape. But YOU, brethren [of the Church], are NOT in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: WE are NOT of the night, NOR of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober."

Yes, let us watch and be sober. WATCH for the SIGNS that indicate the time is near. Be sober so that we pay attention! WATCH! BE READY!

Our Lord indeed will arrive suddenly, quickly. We know NOT the day or the hour, but by the SIGNS (some of them which I shared above), we KNOW the hour is NEAR, and indeed could occur in the VERY NEXT INSTANT.

That's WHY, even in the midst of gloom, doom, atrocities, wickedness, insanity and bestiality, WE CAN LIFT OUR FACES IN JOY. Jesus HIMSELF gives us this HOPE and PEACE. And as we SEEK Him (when the weight of the world presses upon us), He buoys us up and gives us confidence in the very midst of darkness. I KNOW! He's done this countless times as I fulfill the task of Watchman.

Now, let's turn to the very LAST PROMISE recorded in the Bible, where we read:

"He [Jesus] which testifies these things SAYS, 'Surely, I come QUICKLY.' [And we reply] 'AMEN. EVEN SO, COME LORD JESUS.'"

That's why we can REJOICE as the world around us darkens, and while evildoers hold such sway.

I hope this message has UPLIFTED and STRENGTHENED you. It sure brought me up and away from a downcast spirit!

WE WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS! THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH!

  1. THIS NEEDS TO BE REMEMBERED AS WE WITNESS "PERILOUS" [fierce and insane] TIMES.

I've seen and heard others describe a part of the heavy weight I mentioned in an article I wrote 2 days ago. I had many responses to that exhortation, and added this:

The world is NOT a friendly place, even now, especially now, as THE END approaches. While we do NOT know exactly WHEN the Rapture will happen, BY ALL THE SIGNS we see every day, we KNOW it is more IMMINENT than ever!!!

Having a BLESSED HOPE in the MIDST of all this trouble is what helps Christians keep close to Jesus. The worse it gets, the stronger our HOPE becomes. I don't believe any of us who truly KNOW Jesus will abandon Him when the going gets tough. (In my life, I've had very "tough" times, enough to crush and frighten the soul...and I clung tighter to Jesus than ever...because He is the ONLY WAY to survive ANYTHING in this sin-ridden and satanically oppressed world.)

I also express the HOPE that we will be Raptured BEFORE "the sudden destruction", and that IS recorded in 1 Thessalonians 5:3. We will NOT be here when God begins to deal with Israel in the time of Jacob's trouble, PERIOD. That is simply NOT appointed to us!!!

As a Watchman, I do NOT DENY the terrible events we see in the world around us. Many of us in America, even me, already feel the PINCH of the planned financial collapse. I FEEL that collapse will happen as part of "the sudden destruction" as the One World Government comes into being so that the Antichrist can take the helm when he is revealed.

Jesus gives us a promise, which I also cling to: Luke 17:26-30--as it was in the days of Noah and Lot. They were able to plant and build, buy and sell, marry and give in marriage right up until the JUDGMENTS hit. And EVIL was also INTENSE during that time AS they planted and bought and sold. When the collapse finally comes, it will be WORLDWIDE and no one will be able to plant and build--for a season, at least, and intense rioting will be happening all over. (That rioting will be A PART of the roiling of evil entities that I described behind the tissue in the that article, which are being being RESTRAINED in this present time.)

The righteous have a promise to be removed to safety and THEN THE FULL IMPACT OF THE JUDGMENTS will fall. What I seek to do is WARN PEOPLE, because we indeed see the SIGNS of what is approaching. And instead giving NO HOPE and INSTILLING FEAR, I want to leave people with the strength and determination to CLING to Jesus in whatever MIGHT happen BEFORE we are Raptured. And our BLESSED HOPE is ALWAYS this: the Rapture remains IMMINENT, PERIOD!

  2. I must answer this in three posts--because of the length:

This, too, depends upon your heart attitude. There are "Jewish Roots" movements springing up which state that a person MUST KEEP AND OBEY "the law" in order to be truly saved--this in ADDITION TO believing in Jesus. This DETRACTS from the truth that Jesus HAS ALREADY PAID the full price for our sin when He died and rose from the dead. He incarnated into a man of flesh and blood, God in the flesh of a man, so that He could KEEP "the law" perfectly FOR US, and then He died TO PAY God's penalty upon our sin at the cross. By placing faith in what Jesus did for us at the cross, and faith in His resurrection, we die to our old selves IN HIM, and we raise up into NEW LIFE IN HIM, becoming a NEW CREATION, with the old passed away. When Jesus died, He said "It is finished", and in the Greek that means "Paid in full". Jesus paid for our sins at the cross; there is nothing we can do to save ourselves, except trust completely in what He did at the cross. Of course, with NEW LIFE in us from the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, we walk as the Lord directs, according to His Word. We hear His voice and follow Him. We are His workmanship, created IN CHRIST unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10) By the work of the Holy Spirit in us, we are enabled to walk in the way that pleases God.

I need to make those truths clear, before I go on with what I feel led to type.

There's one other admonition given to Christians. We are NOT REQUIRED to keep any of the Jewish traditions, letting no man judge us in how we eat, or what we drink, or in respect of holy days (Jewish feasts) or in new moons or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come (what Jesus did), and the body of these things point to Jesus. (Colossians 2:16-17). Plus we need to remember this truth, too: knowing that a man is NOT justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:16). I say all this because there are people who say we are OBLIGATED and REQUIRED to do these things (Jewish traditions and keeping the law), and our emphasis needs to be upon on faith in what Jesus did for us AT THE CROSS.

  3. It is fine to remember the Jewish feasts and holy days, and to recall how Jesus worked to fulfill the prophetic details in all of them. It adds richness to our understanding about Jesus.

Passover: Jesus became THE LAMB sacrificed, and whose shed blood cleanses us from sin.

Unleavened bread: Jesus is the unleavened bread (the bread of life) which was hidden from view as he laid dead in the grave.

Firstfruits: Jesus IS the firstfruits of those who will be raised from the dead because of having placed faith in Him.

Pentecost: The Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus (as He promised)--to indwell a newly formed Church. Plus, the FIRST members of Christ Body, the Church, were Jews who believed upon Jesus.

Rosh Hoshanah (Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Atonement) and Succoth (Tabenacles) will all be fulfilled IN ISRAEL in the events of Jesus' Second coming.

Hanukkah (the festival of lights) was later added to days that the Jews celebrate. In this they remember the miracle of the oil being supplied for the Menorah in the re-dedication of their Temple, after Antiochus IV Epiphanes desecrated it (167-164 B.C.). We can rejoice with them in this, because it all points to a time when Jesus will cleanse the Temple again after the Antichrist desolates it during the upcoming time of Jacob's trouble (Jeremiah 30:7, Daniel 9:27, Daniel 11:31, Daniel 11:40-45, Isaiah 28:14-18).

We stand with the Jews and rejoice that a remnant will be saved during that horrific time. (Zechariah 13:8-9 and Zechariah 12:10-14) Of course, it would be better if Jews turned to Jesus right now, and see Him as their promised Messiah, and trust in His shed blood to save them. Then instead of going into the time of Jacob's trouble, they will enter the Church of Jesus Christ and partake of the blessings given to us. They will meet Jesus in the Rapture instead of seeing the horrors of the Antichrist.

  4. Interesting and entertaining. However, I prefer to stay focused on the scriptures, especially since time is growing so short.
